Eggs !! I love eggs, what about you? eggs are incredibly nutritious!

Eggs are among the few foods that I would classify as “super foods” very nutritious, inexpensive and versatile. They are loaded with nutrients, some of which are rare in the modern diet. I make sure I give my children at least one egg every day, it keeps them strong and healthy and away from the doctor. I use it a lot while baking and cooking too.

I can remember vividly when I was much younger, how dare you open your mouth and say you want to eat an egg? oh, my! If you try it? the kind of beating you will get day no be here o .. my parents will say, oh you want to go and steal abi?

Still trying to figure out how egg and stealing relate biko I will like to know. But things have changed, my mum calls me every day to ask if I’ve given her children egg for the day and I will be like mum is that why you called? , granny and their grandkids na wa o.
Your body uses the amino acids present in the egg to maintain your tissues and support brain function. Each whole egg provides 20 percent of the recommended daily protein intake for women and 17 percent for men.Eggs also contain various other trace nutrients that are important for health.
Eggs also contain reasonable amounts of Vitamin D, Vitamin E, Vitamin K, Vitamin B6, Calcium, and Zinc which are very good for children.

It is true that eggs are high in cholesterol!

Although not everyone responds poorly to dietary cholesterol, some people notice an increase in blood cholesterol levels when they eat foods that contain cholesterol. Since high blood cholesterol puts you at risk of heart disease, cholesterol “responders” should avoid eggs. However, because all of the cholesterol in an egg is found in the yolk, beating the egg white only allows you to enjoy eggs without eating cholesterol.
Prepare Eggs in a Healthy Way.

Practice healthy cooking methods when preparing your eggs. Ensure your eggs are cooked thoroughly since raw or undercooked eggs can provide a breeding ground for harmful bacteria and foodborne illness. Limit your use of oil when cooking eggs, and pair eggs with healthy flavourings, like chopped red peppers, garlic, and other veggies. Limit your cholesterol by cooking egg whites.
Alternatively, get the best of both worlds by using a mixture of whole eggs and egg whites to get the flavour of egg yolk while still limiting your cholesterol intake. If you have a history of high cholesterol, talk to your doctor about including eggs in your diet

Apart from health benefits , eggs are equally good sources for hair growth and face cleansers.

Benefits of Egg for our hair

Eggs are rich in vitamins A, D, and E in addition to proteins, fatty acids, and sulphur. These nutrients make eggs a very potent treatment for all your hair woes. Moreover, they make it a natural hair conditioner too. The health benefits that eggs might have on your hair are:

Lack of moisture is the reason why hair becomes dry. Applying egg on such hair can provide it the moisture it is lacking.

Prevention of hair breakage and repairing the damage sustained by them is also made possible by the nutrients present in eggs.Using eggs on hair can return their natural lustre and shine with the help of the fatty acids they contain. People having hair that is hard to manage can be made a lot more manageable with the use of eggs.

Benefits of Egg for the face

When you mix the egg white with liquid milk, honey, and tomato juice and apply it on your face in the morning before taking your bath, then wash off with warm water after 15 minutes, do this for one week and your face will be shining.

    Eggs are phenomenal.
I've never tried them in my hair. I'm scared that I may cook them in there by washing with too much water. I plan on doing a facial mask with eggs soonest.
    Helpful post!
