DOMESTIC VIOLENCE? WHAT IS REALLY GOING ON?

The internet has really been hot since last week, with a lot of heart-wrenching domestic violence stories, this is fast becoming a trend in this country and I ask again why?

The one that really touched me was the story involving the Abuja-based business woman and her estranged husband a well-known billionaire civil servant.
I’ve really been calm about the whole thing, I didn’t want to talk about it, but I really needed to air my own view because she is a woman like me and it could happen to anybody.

But what I kept on thinking about it is the fact that she granted an interview last year on a national newspaper stating that she was married to her estranged husband for good 26 years and she enjoyed the marriage for only 3 years.

I don’t want to blame anyone right now because it can happen to anybody like I’ve said earlier but I insist that she could have left the abusive marriage long before it got to this point, her life is more important than all this rubbish, and look at now, from what I heard from a Facebook page is that she has been killed and dismembered, we are yet to get more detailed information about that, whether its true or not but I hope not.

Domestic violence is a very bad, women are the receiving end just because they don’t want to be named bad women or called names or people asking them why they left their marriage, is it your marriage? is it your business? Amebo…hehe..

Please, my beautiful ladies in the house if you are in an abusive marriage and you know your life is at risk, please I beg you to LEAVE! Your precious life is much more important than anything you can think of.
