.
So hubby traveled last week to the village for a burial and came back with these beauties, Avocado pears are also known as the world healthiest fruits because they are packed full with a lot of vitamins and minerals.I couldn’t wait to lay my hands on them and guess what they were not ripe yet, so I decided to tie them in a black nylon and keep them for just 2 days and dang! my delicious fruit is ready.
While growing up I can categorically say that it was my best fruit and my mummy never missed getting it for me at any opportunity she had…God bless you mummy. She will cut them open and feed me with them till I get tired, my mum can feed for Africa and never get tired, she’s just blessed.
Avocados are very delicious fruits with a creamy texture that grow in warm climates. also known as an alligator pear or butter fruit, the versatile avocado is the only fruit that provides a substantial amount of healthy monounsaturated fatty acids.
Avocados are a naturally nutrient-dense food and contain nearly 20 vitamins and minerals. Here are some health benefits of Avocado.
Avocados for Blood Pressure

Many people don’t get enough of the mineral potassium in their diet. This deficiency can lead to high blood pressure, which is in turn, a significant risk factor for heart attack, stroke and kidney disease.
Avocados are particularly rich in potassium, even higher than bananas, and a good food to eat for normal blood pressure and a lower risk of kidney failure and heart disease.I will advise any one reading this piece to always buy this fruits and snack on them at night.

Avocado for Cancer Prevention

Avocados are a good source of antioxidant carotenoids like alpha-carotene, beta-carotene, beta-cryptoxanthin, lutein and zeaxanthin. These antioxidants protect your body’s cells against cancerous changes due to free radical damage and are considered your front line of defense against numerous diseases.Alpha-carotene appears to be especially important for cancer prevention

Avocado Skin Benefits

The monounsaturated fats in avocado are also beneficial for improving your skin tone and appearance. They are vital for maintaining good moisture levels in the epidermal layer of your skin that make it look and feel soft and healthy.

These omega-9 fats are known to assist in reducing skin redness and irritation and are involved in repairing damaged skin cells

Avocado for Diabetes

Avocado is very good for diabetic patients, diabetes is a disease reaching epidemic proportions and there are believed to be a significant number of undiagnosed sufferers. If the rate of new cases continues it will put a huge strain on the medical system and inability to treat people with the disease.

Benefits of Avocado for and Pregnant Women

Avocado is an important food for pregnant women, and those trying to conceive, due to its high concentrations of folate (also known as folic acid). The vitamin B is needed to prevent birth defects.

Most of health problems can be combated with food supplements only if we know the nutrients in these foods and vegetables that nature has blessed us with. as a nutritionist, one fruit or the other has nutrients that can prevent or lessen the effects of health problems and apricot kernel oil is not an exception as it has proven very effective to bring normalcy to our skin for healthy skin and prevent aging to some extents.
