Yay! Happy Sunday lovely people..so good to be here with you guys again..If you are a Christian hope you went to church today? smiles and to my Muslim friends hope the fasting is going on well? wishing you all a Happy Sallah in advance and don’t forget to send my meat across o.
So today I will be sharing with you all how my blogging journey all started. It has not been easy but it’s been worth it I must say.
After graduating from the department of computer science from Anambra state university with a very good grade, I got married almost immediately and the kids came so fast too (big grin) I had my 3 kids within the space of 4 years and everything happened so fast like a speed of light.
I can’t be more grateful because they are the source of my joy and the reason I work tirelessly each day, and am loving every bit of it, it hasn’t been easy I must say and yes if I can do then you can do it. At times I keep asking myself how do I pull through? Trust me It’s just God my sister.
When I was pregnant Divine who is 2 years old now, I was just browsing through facebook and saw a detailed explanation on how to open and run a blog successfully by one guy, he posted it in the group and left not knowing he has impacted in someone’s life, so many people read the post and moved on while I read it, assimilated every word written there and made something out of it and quickly bookmarked the page.
Prior to the day I bumped into that post, hubby will always come back from work and tell me about Linda Ikejis blog and open it with his system and tell me to read through whenever am bored or even browse through other sites since I really loved browsing and checking out a lot of information online, it’s been my hobby since I was very small that led to me studying computer science in the university lol. So since I was always at home and always bored and I was new in town he never wanted me to go out all by myself with my big belly.
So one fateful day while my kids went to school, I finished my usual house chores and decided to take action, I read that post on facebook again over and over again and proceeded to open my blog, and that was how TOB was birthed. I was so excited that day eh…Lol I shared the blog name everywhere I could and then I remembered my favourite blog then was Linda, I ran to her blog and started copying and posting any post I could find there
Later on, I took a break from blogging when I had Divine in March 2014, because I couldn’t keep up with it and I had no nanny to help me out with my chores .Immediately he clocked six months I was strong enough I started again and continued blogging, later on, I took another long break again trying to carve a niche for myself because as a busy mom of 3 super active kids I couldn’t keep up with every minute posting entertainment gist, haha it’s not easy biko I have a life outside that mbok…
So I finally delved into this niche, the Lifestyle blogging niche ..this is a brand new Tessy Onyia’s Blog.
I’m happy now that am doing ME, this is indeed a new me and I blog about my life as a whole and everything that’s happening around me, Divine’s birth really helped me in finding where I belong to, prior to his birth I totally had no direction I was just blogging anything but now I must tell you that yours truly has carved a niche for herself and am loving it.
I hope you all enjoy it and stick around for a long time.
I appreciate you all for your comments, for visiting and also encouraging me through your lovely emails and text messages.
May God bless you all richly.
